Mortal Kombat II is an upcoming American martial arts fantasy film directed by Simon McQuoid and penned by Jeremy Slater, inspired by the Mortal Kombat video game series developed by Ed Boon and John Tobias. The film acts as a sequel to Mortal Kombat (2021) and represents the fourth entry in the Mortal Kombat film franchise. It features returning actors Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Ludi Lin, Mehcad Brooks, Lewis Tan, Damon Herriman (in a new role), Chin Han, Tadanobu Asano, Joe Taslim, and Hiroyuki Sanada, alongside new cast members Karl Urban, Adeline Rudolph, and Tati Gabrielle.
